2024 Coaching Staff

The Pickering Football Club realises the importance of having quality coaches that can deliver our curriculum and have an impact at the different stages of our player’s development, so we invest heavily on the recruitment and training of new and experienced coaches, providing them with a solid platform for their development. PFC has International, National and Provincially Licensed coaches on staff, and each of our coaches are screened and have completed their Respect in Soccer certification.

Hollie Babut

Grassroots Program Director

As a coach, Hollie has won accolades from the Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO) for her work in Grassroots Development and is one of a small group of widely respected, up and coming female coaches in the province taking an active role in Ontario Soccer’s Female mentorship program. She is a great example for young female players as she nurtures a positive and engaging environment wherever she goes.

Hollie attended Ashford University (on full scholarship) from 2010 through 2014 serving as team Captain for 3 years, she was twice recognized as an NAIA All American, and was awarded the Female Athlete of the Year in 2012. Hollie was ultimately signed to a professional contract with Sarpsborg 08 (Norway) in 2015.

Continuing to play, Hollie represented Durham United FA (Pickering Football Club) as the Captain leading the team to its second League1 Ontario Championship in 2018. She was selected as a DUFA League 1 AllStar from 2015 to 2019.

“My goal is to create an enjoyable and positive environment for players of all ages and stages to develop, not only as players but as people. I want to inspire players around me to build confidence, courage, and character”.
