The Pickering Football Club realises the importance of having quality coaches that can deliver our curriculum and have an impact at the different stages of our player’s development, so we invest heavily on the recruitment and training of new and experienced coaches, providing them with a solid platform for their development.  PFC has International, National and Provincially Licensed coaches on staff, and each of our coaches are screened and have completed their Respect in Soccer certification.

A former Canada U20 Women’s Head Coach and U20 Men’s Assistant Coach, Stuart started his Canadian coaching career with Centennial College back in 1994. Since then, his extensive career has taken him to New Zealand and the US as well as key roles with Ontario Soccer, Manitoba Soccer and Vancouver Whitecaps. Most notably Stuart has had two successful stints with the Toronto FC Academy system before serving three years with Canada Soccer as the Manager of Coach Education from 2018-2021.

Stuarts experience truly covers all levels of the game including most recent work with Pacific FC and Vancouver FC in the Canadian Premier League. His reputation and experience across all levels of the Canadian Soccer system is unparalleled.

Stuarts’ vision moving forward is simple, “We must be accountable for the pathway forward for all, while meeting expectations and laying the foundation for new people to be involved in our club”.

Over the past decade Hollie has dedicated herself to building a positive foundation for children to develop through sport. She takes no shortcuts when it comes to building programs to meet children's needs, fuel their creativity, and support them to become better people and players. On her coaching journey, Hollie has won accolades from Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO) and Ontario Soccer, receiving the Grassroots Coach of the Year Award and Ontario Centre Circle Award respectively. Hollie also extends her grassroots specialization as Coach Developer with Canada Soccer delivering the Childrens License to coaches across the country. She was recently selected to take part in the FIFA Coach Educators Course with a small group of coach developers from across the country, where she will continue to pursue her passion for changing the game and influencing future generations. 

Hollie attended Ashford University (on full scholarship) from 2010 through 2014 serving as team Captain for 3 years, she was twice recognized as an NAIA All American, and was awarded the Female Athlete of the Year in 2012.  Hollie was ultimately signed to a professional contract with Sarpsborg 08 (Norway) in 2015.

Continuing to play, Hollie represented Durham United FA (Pickering Football Club) as the Captain leading the team to its second League1 Ontario Championship in 2018. She was selected as a DUFA League 1 AllStar from 2015 to 2019. She continues to represent our club, playing in League1.
