The Pickering Football Club realises the importance of having quality coaches that can deliver our curriculum and have an impact at the different stages of our player’s development, so we invest heavily on the recruitment and training of new and experienced coaches, providing them with a solid platform for their development. PFC has International, National and Provincially Licensed coaches on staff, and each of our coaches are screened and have completed their Respect in Soccer certification.

Welcome Coach Frankie!
Rich began his role with the program on October 28, 2025, and entered the PFC fold with over three decades experience in coaching and leadership roles within numerous soccer organizations throughout the province.
From volunteer coaching the Oshawa Kicks and Ajax United Soccer Club to working as a Technical Director for the Durham Region Soccer Association (DRSA) and head coaching the Centennial Colts’ women's soccer program, Rich’s approach to player development has been centred around helping pave the best future possible for the players he leads.
In all his endeavors, Rich aims to provide his athletes with the experience they are searching for in a High-Performance environment and strives to make them not just better players on the pitch, but meaningful humans away from it.
Over the past decade, Hollie has dedicated herself to building a positive foundation for children to grow and thrive through sport. She takes no shortcuts when it comes to designing programs that meet children’s needs, fuels their creativity, and supports them in becoming both better people and better players.
On her coaching journey, Hollie has earned recognition for her work in the space, receiving the Grassroots Coach of the Year Award, Ontario Centre Circle Award, as well as CIBC/CSA Female Mentorship Recognition. She extends her coaching expertise as a Coach Developer with Canada Soccer, delivering the Children’s and National B Diploma to coaches nationwide. Most recently, she was selected to take part in the FIFA Female Coach Educators Developers Course, alongside a small group of coach developers, where she continues to pursue her passion for changing the game and influencing future generations.
Hollie is also deeply passionate about advancing opportunities for girls and women in sport. Her leadership and advocacy have been evident through her involvement in the She CAN Coach program, BMO Girls Play ON, the delivery of the first all-female National B Diploma course, and her work on the FIFA Female Coach Educators Developers Course.
Before her coaching career, Hollie excelled as a player. She attended Ashford University (2010–2014) on a full scholarship. During her collegiate career, she was a two-time NAIA All-American, recognized as Female Athlete of the Year, and signed a professional contract with Sarpsborg 08 (Norway) in 2015.
Continuing her playing journey at home, Hollie represented Durham United FA (Pickering Football Club) as captain, leading the team to its second League1 Ontario Championship in 2018. She was named a League1 Ontario All-Star from 2015 to 2019 and continues to proudly represent the club in League1 competition today.
