Ontario residents and business across the province face a new set of restrictions meant to curb the rampant spread of COVID-19. The measures were announced by Premier Doug Ford on Monday and go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 5.

As part of the new restrictions, Indoor sport and recreational fitness facilities, including gyms, will be closed, except for athletes training for the Olympics and Paralympics and select professional and elite amateur sport leagues. At the same time, the government is requiring businesses to have employees work from home unless the nature of their work requires them to be on-site. These closures are expected to last for at least 3 weeks (until January 26th).

Pickering FC Recreational programs are currently postponed until such time as we can get back on the field. Pickering FC Competitive and High Performance Program Leaders or Head Coaches will be in contact with players regarding online sessions for the next 3 weeks. Look out for details in your Inbox.

PFC staff is working on getting programs in place to be ready to start back up once we are permitted to do so.
