DG Sports – Indoor Soccer League Convenors
Job Description:

We are looking for reliable and proactive individuals to fill the role of Indoor Soccer League Convenors. This position primarily involves being present during league games and events and acting as a liaison between participants and the league  coordinator. The Convenor will ensure smooth operations and help resolve any issues that may arise on-site.

Locations: Venues Across GTA - Aurora, Central Tech, Lakeshore Collegiate Sports Centre, Markham Sports Dome, Monarch Park, Mount Joy, Newmarket, Pickering, Soccer Centre, Toronto Sportsplex, Whitby, Woodbridge Sports Dome, York University

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. On-Site Presence:

• Attend all scheduled league games and events.
• Serve as the point of contact for teams, players, and officials during games.

2. Issue Resolution:

• Address any concerns or disputes that arise during games.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the league coordinator or appropriate authority as needed.

3. Communication:

• Communicate league policies, rules, and guidelines to participants as necessary.
• Assist with disseminating information from the league coordinator to teams and players.

4. Assistance with Logistics:

• Assist with basic logistical tasks such as field setup, equipment distribution, and similar duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Basic understanding of soccer rules and game operations.
• Reliable and punctual attendance at scheduled games and events.
• Standard First Aid/CPR with AED considered an asset
• Available to work weekends and evenings
