Pickering FC Welcomes Michael Heuthe as New Club Head Referee
Pickering Football Club is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Heuthe as the club’s new Club Head Referee.
Michael brings with him over two decades of experience in officiating, having begun his journey as a match official in 2004. Over the years, he has climbed the ranks and currently serves as a Regional Official and is a member of the League1 Ontario panel of match officials.
Throughout his career, Michael has officiated numerous high-profile matches, including multiple Ontario Cup Semi-Finals and Finals, and was honoured to officiate at the 2017 North American Indigenous Games held in Hamilton, Ontario.
In recent years, Michael has committed himself to giving back to the officiating community. In 2022, he became a mentor, followed by certification as an assessor in 2024, and most recently, an instructor in 2025. His passion for the game and dedication to referee development make him a valuable addition to the Pickering FC leadership team.
“I’m very excited to take on the role of Club Head Referee,” said Michael. “I look forward to working with our talented group of match officials to provide support, help further develop their skill sets, and guide them toward becoming well-rounded match officials.”
Pickering FC looks forward to the positive impact Michael will have in his new role and is excited for the continued growth and excellence of its officiating program.
